I was born and raised here in Columbus, Ohio and am still a Buckeye through-and-through.  With a printer/artist mother and an engineer/comedian father, I was bound to get something of an eclectic headspace by my adult years.

In 2008 I finished my Bachelor’s of Science in Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Las Vegas, my primary emphasis being on traditional media design (logos, print materials) but with an eye towards the future in multimedia/web visuals.  I interned for local publications such as Desert Diamonds magazine.  My first professional employment out of school was as the Assistant In-House Designer at Cashman Photo Enterprises.  It was at Cashman that I got solid experience designing for the many famous Las Vegas casino/resorts and their most popular shows, from the Cirque du Soleil franchises to many five-star restaurants’ souvenir photo frames.

In late 2008 my wife and I returned to Ohio, and I got to work at various multimedia/website design firms as well as continuing to take on freelance clients.  I’ve since picked up proficiency in even broader areas of design, such as Joomla/Magento website visuals, Flash animations, 3D modeling/texturing…as well as real-world work in team leadership, project logistics and resource management.

I continually am looking to broaden my experience and skills, challenge my imagination, and never let myself get complacent.  I am always on the hunt for opportunities to show the world what it is I can do.  From stand-up comedy around the clubs of central Ohio, to robotic programming and prop fabrication, as well as to my career as a professional fiction writer with numerous publication credits to my name, I never want to let it be said that I’ve only ever been interested in one thing in life.
